With virtually every part of modern life powered by batteries, the latest release from Projecta is a boost for anyone spending plenty of time behind the wheel.

The 120W Power-Can from Projecta is one of the handiest stash -in-the-glove box alternate power sources available, able to power a laptop, mobile phone, video recorder, digital camera and even small TVs.

The Projecta Power-Can also features a USB connection, so you’ll be able to sway away countless hours of iPod and MP3-induced groovy tunes.

The inverter will not only allow music playback, but it will recharge the inbuilt iPod and MP3 batteries, and can do the same for any device with rechargeable batteries.

The tinny-sized can fits neatly into a cup holder, plugs into the standard cigarette or power socket and converts the supplied 12V into 240V modified sine wave power anywhere, any time.

It features a heavy duty heat resistant plug, fuse protection and a fault detection LED with audible buzzer should you overload the system.

The Power-Can will handle start-up loads exceeding 120W for a short period of time, and has noise free filtering to reduce TV interference and will automatically shut down if the voltage is less than 10V or higher than 15.5V.
