A newcomer to the Australian market, Higer Bus, imported to Australia by White Motor Corporation (Australia) based in Sydney, has been granted compliance plate approval for its 9.2 meter V-series school bus.

Higer Bus, based in China, was established in 1998 and has become one of the leading and fastest developing bus manufacturers in its home market and globally.

Their range of product is extensive and buses are available from six to 18 meters ranging from low floor buses to high-end touring coaches.

Higer has been awarded the Chinese Bus Industry’s "BAAV Safest Equipment" award and the "Safest Brand of Choice" award four years running (2004-2007, in 2007 Higer was awarded "Best Bus Manufacturer" and "Best Bus Shape" at the Shanghai BAAV Asia exhibition, and also won "Coach Builder of the Year" in 2008.

Last month Higer become fully ADR compliant, and all major components are fully covered by the local manufacturers, including Cummins, ZF, and Thermo King.
