The Narva wrap-around incandescent front direction indicator lamp Part No. 86790 has proven to be widely popular since its introduction, but even this lamp has been upstaged with the release of a modern LED version.

Built as a direct replacement for the incandescent lamp and sharing the same mounting holes and wrap-around shape, the new Model 70 lamp offers a host of new features that will save time and cost for operators.

Due to the large size of the lamp and its position on the front corner of the vehicle, the earlier model, with its acrylic lens, has been vulnerable to breakage.

With the new Model 70, the acrylic lens has been replaced with a new virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lens.

This combined with long life, low current draw LED’s which are covered against early failure by the five year Narva warranty, results in a robust long life and reliable lamp that will save on-going running costs.

With the benefit of the latest LED technology, more freedom in design has been allowed resulting in an aesthetically pleasing look to this new model.

Commonly used on the front of buses and trucks, such as the latest Kenworth models, the new LED Model 70 lamp is unhanded, being suitable for left or right front placement and is available in 12 and 24Volt.

Marketed under Part No. 97002 – 12Volt and 97004 – 24Volt the new Model 70 Narva lamp is both ‘E’ and ADR approved as a front indicator lamp and is now available from automotive and transport outlets throughout Australia.
