Police from the Blue Mountains Local Area Command this weekend investigated a crash involving a motor cycle and a bus.
About 11am on Saturday on Jenolan Caves Road, about 150 meters from the intersection of Duck Maloi Road, the motorcycle collided with the bus which was carrying eight passengers.
The rider of the motorcycle was killed instantly.
All passengers and the driver had alighted from the bus before it caught on fire. No passengers were injured as a result of the collision.
