The trial of Tony and Peter King the former Port Macquarie bus tycoons is probably the biggest in Australia’s history.

Tony King was convicted in 2007 of defrauding the NAB bank of millions of dollars.

It is almost a folk tale in Australia’s bussing industry how the King Brothers tried to get away with claiming their company owned 144 used Mercedes Benz buses to get cash from the bank.

Both have pleaded guilty to the most recent charges and will be sentenced in the Downing Centre District Court in Sydney.
