More than 20 Clark’s buses were attacked during an overnight spree last week with windows on three buses smashed as well as the hydraulic fluid containers on 16 buses.

Testament to the professionalism of Clark’s there were minimal disruptions to local services while the buses were repaired.

Four young men aged 17 and 18, all from Logan Central, have been charged with 24 counts of willful damage, five counts of stealing, four counts of trespass, two counts of unlawful entry of a motor vehicle and one count of break and enter.

Police allege the young men are responsible for the alleged damage of 20 Clark’s buses at the Jutland Street, Loganlea depot as well as damage to five other local business premises.

Two 16-year-old boys will be dealt with under the Juvenile Justice Act following their alleged involvement in the spree yesterday.

The four young men are due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on August 5.

Police located the offenders with the assistance of community members who had heard the news reports and provided police with vital information.
