Queensland Transport is to hold a number of fatigue management information sessions across the State in the lead-up to the implementation of the laws.
The sessions will be held from July 21 to mid-August following the legislation of fatigue regulations on May 21.
The Queensland Trucking Association says it is vital operators and owner-drivers attend the sessions to understand what will be expected of them come September 29 when the laws take effect.
However, those unable attend to the sessions can contact Queensland Transport to request an information kit.
The first information session will be held on the Gold coast over two days, followed by Beenleigh, Richlands and Toowoomba. Queensland Transport will also conduct sessions across the Sunshine Coast and its regions and in North-Queensland.
Those interested will need to complete a nomination form to attend a session.
