According to the Sydney Morning Herald more than a quarter of the NSW State Government’s new Scania buses at the Willoughby Depot have been found to have faulty or failed handbrakes after an empty bus slid on to live railway tracks at Epping last week.

An audit of the State Government’s Scania fleet – 308 in all – has revealed a startling number of handbrakes are prone to failure.
