Professor David Hensher, Transdev TSL Shorelink Buses and Heritage Finance were recognised for their contributions to the New South Wales bus and coach industry at a gala dinner last night.
As a Professor of Management and Director of the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies, Hensher was awarded the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry NSW Bus and Coach Industry Award.
In a pre-recorded video Hensher said the award was “humbly accepted but gratefully received”.
Tony Ralph from Transdev TSL Shorelink Buses accepted the Environmental / Innovative Operator of the Year on behalf of his company.
With 85 vehicles, 120 employees servicing 22 routes and 3 million passengers every year Transdev TSL Shorelink Buses was recognised for its “Together, we change” marketing campaign, amongst other things.
Heritage Finance was recognised for its commitment to the bus and coach industry with the Supplier of the Year award.
The gala dinner was part of the Australian Bus + Coach Show 2009 in Sydney. The show continues today.
