Major bus network improvements are on the way for multiple communities in Western Sydney, with 243 additional weekly services kicking off at the end of the month.
From June 29, bus services in Western Sydney including Penrith, Glenmore Park, Mount Druitt, Blacktown and Rouse Hill will see improved service frequency, updated timetables and additional services.
There will also be minor timing changes to some school services.

Route 731 and 770 will have additional services on weekends and public holidays, with services starting earlier in the morning and ending later at night on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. For Route 731, Early morning services on Saturdays will now operate to and from Rouse Hill, improving access to Sydney Metro services.
Route 780 will see similar changes, with the addition of all services on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays now operating the full length of the route between Penrith and Mt Druitt, resulting in more services for passengers between Penrith and Tregear and a simpler and easier to understand bus timetable.
Early morning, evening and night services throughout the week on Route 794 will operate to and from Glenmore Park Town Centre, improving access to local shopping and community services, while Route 785 will have a morning peak service from Penrith Station operating via St Joseph’s Primary School, Kingswood.
Route 678 will have a morning peak service from Penrith Station operating via The Lakes Christian College, Castlereagh. This will provide a new morning journey option between Penrith Station, Penrith, Cranbrook and the school.
