She has also previously held senior roles at Metro Trains Melbourne, where she successfully managed Australia’s largest urban rail network, and Transdev Australasia, where she oversaw extensive bus and ferry operations across Queensland.

“Tilly is an outstanding leader with an extensive background in transport operations across
complex and highly regulated environments,” Thorburn says.
“Her expertise in driving customer-focused solutions, alongside her passion for innovation and sustainability, makes her the ideal choice to lead Greyhound Australia’s operations into the future.”
Loughborough is set to focus on leveraging data-driven insights, enhancing service quality, and strengthening
Greyhound’s environmental and community commitments.
With nearly two decades of transformative leadership in public transport, Loughborough brings a wealth of expertise to the role, and says she looks forward to ensuring the continued delivery of reliable and sustainable coach services.
“I’m excited to join Greyhound Australia at such a pivotal time for the transport sector as we navigate evolving customer expectations and sustainability opportunities,” she says.
“I look forward to working with the team to deliver seamless, safe, and customer-centric travel experiences that support communities across Australia.”
