Gold Coast charter drivers were given the chance to enjoy a Titans game thanks to Kinetic
Kinetic Gold Coast bus drivers recently enjoyed a unique game-day experience as part of Kinetic’s partnership with the NRL team the Gold Coast Titans.
As part of the community Titans Together program, charter drivers from Kinetic’s Gold Coast team who help deliver sporting event transport were welcomed by Titans CEO Steve Mitchell.
The drivers were given a behind-the-scenes tour of Cbus Super Stadium and a chance to soak in the game day action as the Titans took on the Brisbane Broncos.
While the Titans didn’t take the victory in the local derby, the crowd packed in early to watch the physical disability rugby league (PDRL) showdown between the Titans and Sydney.
The PDRL game has been three years in the making due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Titan’s player Karel Dekker says he’d never felt anything like it.

“Watching other games, you see the professionals playing and you hear how the crowd goes, but hearing that for yourself, it certainly egged me on a bit,” Dekker says.
“The boys who have been here from the start… it was so good to see how keen they were for today, which makes me even more amped up to play with them.
“It means a lot to them, so I put everything in as I want to help them and I know I look up to these boys as well.”
In addition to supporting the PDRL and Leagueability, Titans Together focuses on programming within the social inclusion, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander reconciliation and participation space with Kinetic a presenting partner to all Titans Together community programs.
