This year’s expedition was the most successful to date, with 38 students and 3 staff members participating and completing all planned projects, along with additional ones that arose during the trip.
Go West provided comprehensive transportation support, including airport transfers from Bunbury (Manea Senior College) to Perth Airport, and a dedicated bus in Port Hedland for the entire five-day duration of the expedition. Upon the group’s return, Go West also facilitated their airport transfer back to Bunbury.
“On behalf of Manea Senior College, Follow the Dream, and the ‘Out On Country’ Program, I want to sincerely thank Go West for your unwavering support again this year,” Manea College Aboriginal education coordinator David Crawford says.
Go West general manager Brad Bunce says the company is always keen to support the community.
“‘Out On Country’ offers Manea College students an amazing experience, and we couldn’t be prouder to support David and his vision to create life-changing learnings for the students,” Bunce says.
Go West remains committed to fostering strong community connections and supporting educational programs that enrich the lives of young people in Western Australia.
