Heavy vehicle distributor Foton Mobility has announced a landmark partnership with EnergyAustralia to enhance zero-emissions capabilities
Foton Mobility Distribution (FMD) has announced it and EnergyAustralia have agreed to partner in their joint quest to accelerate the transition to Net Zero.
FMD CEO Neil Wang says thahet he welcomes the partnership with EnergyAustralia and feels that the complementary nature of the agreement could lead to substantial benefits to FMD’s customers by providing a one stop shop arrangement, accessing both quality product and quality advice at the same time.
Head of Green Transport at EnergyAustralia Jack Kotlyar says: “When considering transitioning to electric vehicles, we understand that the quality, reliability and customisation of the EV charging infrastructure are essential for vehicle fleet owners and operators.”

FMD is the exclusive Australian distributor of Foton New Energy commercial vehicles, including electric and hydrogen fuel-cell trucks and buses.
It has recently added Asiastar electric vans to its product range. FMD says its ability to deliver high quality, new energy commercial vehicles at scale and in a timely fashion has seen it gain a substantive foothold in both the logistics market and public transport in a short period of time.
EnergyAustralia’s Green Transport Team is working to accelerate the clean energy transformation by providing site scoping and engineering all the way through to site electrification, including solar, battery, chargers, energy and maintenance plans.
