Foton Mobility has announced a new key heavy vehicles sales manager working in the bus and truck divisions following recent local experience with Mercedes-Benz
Foton Mobility Distribution (FMD) has announced it has made a new key appointment, with Iain Dorward announced as Foton’s new heavy vehicles sales manager according to GoAuto.
Dorward joins the Foton Mobility team following experience selling commercial vehicles for 23 years with Mercedes-Benz in a variety of locations, including Australia, Ireland and the UK.
The final role Dorward had before Foton was as technical sales executive of bus and coach for Mercedes-Benz NSW.
In a company statement published by GoAuto, Foton Mobility says Dorward will bring industry and technical knowledge to the sales role after working with Daimler for nine years in Australia, including three years as a technical trainer with Mercedes-Benz.
“Iain joins FMD at a pivotal point in its growth, with the second shipment of 45 T5 light duty electric trucks now in pre-delivery in Sydney, and with additional zero-emissions commercial vehicles due to be introduced to the market in coming months,” the company told GoAuto.
Foton says Dorward will work closely with national sales manager of buses Greg Abel.
Foton Mobility distributes Foton vehicles in Australia, ranging from battery-electric and hydrogen trucks and buses to new Asiastar electric vans.
