RUD Australia is attending its first ever National Bus & Coach Show this year in the hopes of establishing itself as an industry mainstay in the areas of lifting, lashing and hoist solutions.
The global lifting technology company has been operating since 1875 but is looking to further embed itself in the Australian heavy vehicle landscape following well over a century of global operation.
“This is our first time at the Bus & Coach Show,” RUD Australia managing director Peter Nuttall tells ABC.
“We became a member of Bus Industry Confederation in 2023 because we wanted to offer quality lifting, lashing and hoist solutions to bus and coach manufacturers and workshops.”
In an industry where technological innovation is paramount to maintaining success, RUD believes it can position itself as a market leader through the displays of its Australian and German-made lifting solutions at the Show.
“We will be displaying the Australian-made Endurequip and the German-made Finkbeiner mobile heavy vehicle hoists. Endurequip is a chain driven mechanical hoist using calibrated RUD chains while Finkbeiner is a wireless hydraulic hoist,” Nuttall continues.
“Endurequip is Australia’s number one, and the only Australian-made mobile heavy vehicle hoist which is manufactured at our Brisbane factory. Endurequip has been in Australia for the last 35 years and has a very loyal customer base.
“We will also be showcasing the ICE Grade 120 lifting and lashing solutions that RUD is known for around the world.
“Many Australian automotive workshops still use traditional pits. Many bus and coach manufacturers also use standard Grade 80 and Grade 100 lifting and lashing equipment which offer considerably less value compared to the RUD Grade 120 ICE lifting and lashing points.
“We’re hoping to promote engagement and awareness of the world-class lifting, lashing and hoist solutions offered by RUD.”
