A lighting manufacturer has developed a product to help bus visibility at night
LED lighting manufacturer Lucidity Australia has released its GloTrac lighting series for buses and caravans onto the market to help on-road visibility for buses when travelling at night.
GloTrac’s design significantly increases the tail lamp illumination area which increases on-road visibility for buses when travelling at night.
GloTrac’s Technical Sales Director Mathew Jenkins expects Australian manufacturers and operators will soon start using the product.
“I think there will be interest,” Jenkins says.
He says benefits of the product include providing greater visibility which makes it safer for following vehicles.
The development of the product came from the company’s need to expand its line.
The GloTrac tail lamp’s surface area has twice the illumination surface as a conventional LED light.
While increasing tail lighting surface area, it offers uniform, non-spot design. It is softer to the eyes, especially for the vehicle travelling behind your bus.
“It looks a lot more modern,” Jenkins says.
