He can’t even use the tried line saying there isn’t enough money for all the promises — because the money isn’t the issue.

So what’s it like to be a visionary, with so many changes to make in order to make your mark on Australian society and with potentially billions of dollars that could be surplus, and not being able to spend it all on issues that need to be addressed?

The more money spent, the greater the chance of interest rate hikes and the more impact on everyday Aussies, the less spent, the less chance on spending on essential services, and once again the impact is on everyday Aussies.

His plan is to shave as many billions of dollars from public spending as possible.

Will it mean massive public service job cuts?

Well if it does, at least we can re-skill those public servants and alleviate the growing skills shortage.
