Donric Group acquires Bendigo bus service Floods Motor Services

This is the second acquisition Donric Group has made in the past 10 months

Passenger transport management company Donric Group have announced the acquisition of Bendigo-based Floods Motor Services as it continues growing its presence across the state.

Floods Motor Services has been providing bus services to the Bendigo community since the 1940s, with Donric Group wanting to maintain its relationship and standing within the community.

Announced via a Linkedin post, Donric Group wrote, “Thanks to the Flood family for entrusting us to carry on the Floods name.”

As part of the purchase, Floods former owner, John Flood and his son Jack will remain with the business going forward, with all drivers and maintenance staff also remaining with the business.

The Floods fleet of 15 vehicles will compliment the 13 Organ’s Coaches vehicles currently operating in and around the Bendigo region.

“We are very pleased to be able to share news of our recent growth in Bendigo,” Donric managing director Matthew Baird says.

“Another reputable, long-standing family business joins the Donric family!”

The acquisition comes just 10 months after Donric successfully acquired Melbourne on the Move.
