BusNSW’s annual free Coach and Charter Seminar promises to offer another intense day of industry discussion
February 9, 2012
Fast becoming a ‘must-attend’ on the annual bus industry calendar, BusNSW‘s Coach and Charter seminar once again offers a free day-long program certain to raise intense discussion.
This year’s seminar will switch venues to Parramatta’s Sebel Hotel on Church Street for the Tuesday February 21 industry development day.
BusNSW Executive Director Darryl Mellish says the Coach and Charter Seminar is a free professional development day for all operators involved in the Long Distance, Tourist and Charter sector, as well as industry suppliers and other stakeholders.
“The seminar was inspired by the BusNSW Coach Branch on the need to assist the coach and charter sector with business development and to bring operators together to facilitate further coach and charter initiatives,” Mellish says.
The seminar program includes a wide range of topics and presentations including:
– Coach and Charter Sector Industry Report presented by BusNSW Coach Branch Chairman Karim Hussain and BusNSW Industry Development Manager Matt Threlkeld
– Destinations NSW Tourism and Transport Report from Destination NSW Strategic Insights Analyst Amanda Coghlan
– Technical matters update including the formation of Roads & Maritime Services, previously RTA, from Regulator Services Director Peter Wells
The program also includes presentations on finance from Pitcher Partners and insurance from ALIB Businsure.
Registration forms are available on the BusNSW website www.busnsw.com.au or by contacting BusNSW on 02 8839 9500.
