Charge Hub announces appointment of new chief commercial officer

The new appointment brings more than 15 years of leadership experience across Australasia’s bus industry to the role

Australian electric vehicle solutions company Charge Hub has announced the appointment of a new chief commercial officer.

In the role, James McCarthy, based in Sydney, will take a national focus in fostering the development of bus and heavy vehicle electrification projects.

McCarthy brings more than 15 years of leadership experience across the transport sector to the role, with a strong track record in delivering large-scale zero-emissions projects in partnership with government, public transport authorities and key stakeholders across Australasia.

McCarthy has played a key role in transitioning depots and fleets to zero-emissions and consistently delivering outcomes in complex and high-stakes environments.

His experience to date includes working with international transport operators and leading the development and implementation of strategic e-mobility solutions across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Auckland and Wellington.
