CDC NSW has announced its services remain uninterrupted in Newcastle and the Hunter today after a safety issue occurred in the region yesterday.
CDC NSW has informed passengers and the community that all of its scheduled bus services in Newcastle and the Hunter region will continue to operate as normal from today onwards.
The message comes after there was a driver threatened in Newcastle yesterday, with SafeWork NSW inspectors attending the workplace.

The result was a confirmation that there was no imminent threat, meaning services will run as normal.
At the time, bus services were set to stop running after the driver was threatened, but now services are back.
“Passengers can expect all CDC NSW services to run according to the regular timetable,” the operator says.
“We thank the community for their continued support and want to reassure all passengers that we remain dedicated to providing reliable, safe, and efficient transport across Newcastle and the Hunter region.”
