CDC NSW launches new Ride with Pride campaign

CDC NSW is operating two buses during Sydney World Pride that include designs that celebrate its inclusion and diversity campaign

Operator CDC NSW says it’s proud to launch a new ‘Ride with Pride’ campaign to celebrate diversity and inclusion.

CDC says two buses have been wrapped in a customised rainbow design to celebrate the initiative, with the buses running services in the Hunter Valley and Sydney during Sydney World Pride.

As part of this campaign, CDC NSW will also launch a new social media campaign featuring former Manley Sea Eagles player David Williams and Tom Symonds, while world-famous CDC NSW bus driver Tony Oxley is also part of the campaign.

Oxley has TikTok videos that have been viewed more than 100 million times.

The buses will be used to move performers representing MINI cars to and from the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras as well as DestinationNSW VIPs.

“We’re excited to celebrate diversity and inclusion with the launch of our two Ride with Pride buses,” CDC NSW CEO Edward Thomas says.

“At CDC NSW we care for our staff and passengers and it’s important that our people feel safe, respected and supported so they can be at their very best and achieve their potential.

“This, in turn, has a fundamentally positive impact on our business and the community and aligns with our Diversity and Inclusion policy that we implemented two years ago.”
