People are being urged to get their last minute registrations done for the Australian Bus + Coach Show 2013

September 17, 2013

People are being urged to get their last minute pre-registrations in for the Australian Bus + Coach Show 2013 with only a week until the event – and already more than 1,500 people have already pre-registered.

The show will incorporate a number of social functions including a welcome cocktail party, and an industry gala dinner.

BusNSW Deputy Director General Customer Experience Tony Braxton-Smith will officially open the two-day exhibition at Sydney Showgrounds at 11.45am on September 25.

BusNSW Industry Development Manager Matt Threlkeld says the online registration for social functions and visitor entry to the show will finish tomorrow at midnight.

“We strongly recommend that all operators, exhibitors and industry stakeholders wishing to attend social functions register online before midnight Wednesday 18 September.”

BusNSW Executive Director Darryl Mellish says he is excited about where they are taking the show, which is supported by industry suppliers building word class stands to display the latest products and services.

“The show will feature over 80 vehicles and more than 120 exhibition booths covering an area of 15,600 square metres under one roof.”

He says those in attendance are in for a few surprises with vehicles never seen before in Australia on exhibition.

“We are pleased to have Transport for NSW supporting the show with a large interactive stand.”

Entry to the show is free and visitors will be able to register on the day. For event information and online registration go to www.busshow.com.au
