South Australian bus and coach association Bus SA has presented its latest annual awards as part of its conference held last weekend.
The Bus SA awards recognise and celebrate the excellence, passion and dedication of the bus and coach industry workforce in the state.

On the driver side, Lynne Forbes from LinkSA took home the professional driver award across route, school and charter.
Stephen Lucas from LinkSA also received the recognition, while Michael Waters from Grants Coachlines was awarded the professional driver of school charter award and Malcolm Watters from Nadebaum/Lehmann received the professional driver award for regional school.
There were also two young achiever awards handed out during the event, with Keolis SA Bus’ Ryan Orchard winning the operations management sector while Fleet Support’s Joshua Rowe won the award for fleet management.
“Congratulations to all of our award winners and those that were nominated, your example demonstrates our industry’s diligent care and responsibility for your passengers,” Bus SA says.
“You keep turning up, have great pride in your job and career, and no matter what the title, you demonstrate strong leadership in your company and community, you are all wonderful examples among our passionate, dedicated and skilled bus and coach industry!”
