Brisbane bus passengers now have a new boarding point, with platform 3 at Cultural Centre station now open as part of the Brisbane Metro project.
The new platform, located at street level on Melbourne Street at the corner of Grey Street, opposite Starbucks and Woolworths, will serve key routes travelling to West End and Highgate Hill.

Services now departing from platform 3 include bus routes 60, 192, 196, 199, N199, 202, 300, 301, 306, 322, 330, 333, 345, 385, and 444.
Further changes to bus services will take effect from June 30 2025, when Brisbane’s new bus network goes live.
While Platform 3 is operational, the adjacent Melbourne Street footpath between Grey Street and Merivale Street remains closed for ongoing precinct works, expected to finish in mid-2025.
Pedestrians should continue using the detour on the western side of Melbourne Street.
