BCI launch imminent

There’s just a few more sleeps until BCI launches its Sydney dealership on Wednesday

Bus and Coach International (BCI) is gearing up for its Sydney opening on Wednesday with the latest Classmaster 57 on show and a crowd of at least fifty operator-representatives coming along to Milperra.

Canberra-based operator Murray’s will have a customised late-2010 model BCI Explorer at the opening, along with the Classmaster as the star attractions.

BCI Marketing and Communications Manager Michelle Nazzari says the new dealership gives Sydney operators an opportunity to see BCI’s offerings in NSW, including a servicing and parts facility.

“Having a Sydney dispatch centre for parts means we can better service our NSW customers and Wednesday’s launch will give people the opportunity to see what we are doing right now.

“And there will be less down time for people in NSW because we will have a big inventory of stock on hand at Milperra,” Nazzari says.

The dealership opening will also provide operators and bus industry workers with the chance to meet the Sydney team, led by Peter Chinnery.

The Sydney launch at 11 Works Place Milperra includes supper and refreshments from 5pm, but guests are welcome to visit any time throughout the day for refreshments and a tour of the premises, Nazzari says.

The launch will wrap up on Wednesday night with a door prize when one lucky attendee will receive an all-expenses paid trip to China with BCI’s operators’ tour in May.

Nazzari says the 150 participating operators on the tour will attend the official opening of BCI’s new Xiamen production facility on May 10, expected to receive widespread media coverage in China and internationally.

“It’s pretty exciting.”
