PERTH-BASED, family run, Australian bus builder BCI has appointed Robert Lanteri as its new NSW sales executive, the company announced recently.
Bus and Coach International (BCI) says Lanteri brings with him more than 30 years’ experience in the bus industry, from humble beginnings as an apprentice motor bodybuilder to key account manager with major OEMs for both body and chassis manufacturers.
A BCI spokesperson told ABC magazine its new sales executive brings with him a vast knowledge of the NSW bus industry and understands the importance of getting the best results for the company’s customers.
MODULAR CONSTRUCTION
Lanteri says he is looking forward to his new role with BCI and continuing with his many long-term relationships with operators, government and suppliers.
“One of the reasons I joined BCI was the practical product range we offer from our Proma 33 (passengers) right up to the two- and three-axle double deckers,” he said.
“BCI’s modular construction/design across the model range was a real eye-opener and I’m very excited about sharing this with Australian bus operators, especially BCI being an Australian family owned business.
“It’s been amazing the reaction from the industry with me joining BCI and just shows again what a great industry this is to work in,” Lanteri explained.
