A coach-based tour operator is calling for more ‘blokes’ to hop on its love bus this Valentine’s Day

Forget online, speed and blind dating this Valentine’s Day – according to one of Australia’s largest adventure tour companies, the latest place to meet your perfect girl is on a coach.
Oz Experience believes it’s the wheels on the bus that makes the heart go round and round as drivers are reporting back that love blossoms at least for one couple every tour.
Oz Experience General Manager for Adventures Gagandeep Singh says if you put 32 like-minded people on a bus for an adventure of a lifetime, friendships and potentially romances were going to form.
“Camp in Kakadu, surf in Byron Bay, dive the Great Barrier Reef and skydive in Cairns with a group of people, you’re very likely to meet someone who is compatible,” Singh says.
Word that Oz Experience is the Aussie love bus is out with the travel operator experiencing a burst in female patronage over the past few months.
Singh says at least 70 percent of its adventure seekers are females.
“We’re not sure why this is so but it’s certainly good news for any young fellows travelling,” he says.
Oz Experience is Australia’s only dedicated hop on hop off flexible bus tour for young travellers aged between 18 and 35 moving thousands on adventure tours across the country each year.
“The whole idea of an Oz Experience tour is to see the must-see’s, do all the must-do’s of Australia and meet other travellers. Finding love, that’s a holiday bonus,” Singh says.
“We joke with our Oz Experience team we’ve become the unofficial backpacker matchmakers. We will help any young traveller fall in love with Australia and with each other.”
Singh says Oz Experience was currently recommending travellers to head to Queensland for February and March.
“It’s the perfect time of the year to head north as the crowds and prices fall after the busy Christmas season. There’s plenty of travel bargains to be had this time of year,” he says.
“There is a variety of tour experiences to choose from. Rather than fly over, an Oz Experience pass will let you stop and enjoy any number of places including Byron Bay, Cairns, Noosa and 1770 with some accommodation and food included.”
Oz Experience offers a number of other tours and hundreds of activities.
