Penske Commercial Vehicles (PCV) is pleased to announce the winners of the Parts Supplier of the Year awards.
Meritor Australia has won the 2014 Parts Supplier of the Year and SKF has won the 2014 Innovative Parts Supplier of the Year Award.
PCV is responsible for the distribution of MAN buses in Australia and New Zealand.
A ceremony was held in conjunction with the PCV Parts and Service Conference at Sanctuary Cove, Queensland, recently.
Winners were announced and they were awarded their trophies by PCV general manager – parts Mike Hickey.
Meritor Australia managing director Matt Wolfe was extremely proud to receive the award from PCV on behalf of the Meritor team.
“Operating from our facility in Melbourne, and partnering with the PCV parts dealer network provides a wide opportunity to ensure that aftermarket parts are available locally to fleet and owner driver operations,” he says.
“The use of genuine parts is a very important aspect of keeping the truck or trailer in safe operating condition and in compliance with the Federal Office of Road Safety ADR requirements.”
The awards recognise excellence in overall parts support to both PCV and the dealer network.
The awards are voted on by the PCV parts department staff and the parts staff of the dealer network in categories of supply performance, customer service, field representation and overall support.
