Mega bus for QLD

Young’s Bus Service, Queensland, has welcomed the arrival of two new Bonluck buses

Young’s Bus Service, based in Rockhampton, Queensland, has announced the arrival of two new mega buses as the company celebrates 65 years in business.

The buses will join an existing fleet of 34, although the new editions are longer, greener and safer.

The buses are longer than the rest of the fleet at 14.5 metres long and each bus seats 71 passengers.

The buses  are fully recyclable – due to their stainless steel chassis and body frame – and have the added features of  a steerable tag axle, improving manoeuvrability, ABS, EBS and a stage four retarder improving braking and safety.

Each bus also contains a Euro 5 engine for a supreme environmentally friendly output, as manufactured by Bonluck.

The upholstery was chosen with the sunny state in mind.

“We chose the bright upholstery to keep a happy feeling while travelling,” says operations manager Phil Young.

Their arrival of the buses coincides with our Young’s Bus Service’s 65th Anniversary, so a new logo design was also incorporated.

Creative Avenue Rockhampton is behind the special bus design, combining the old and new into one long design.

The new buses will provide school and charter services.
