The Queensland Bus Industry Council (QBIC) has announced its first general meeting will be held on Saturday July 15. The merger of the Bus & Coach Association (Queensland) and the Bus Operators Association (Qld) gathers all bus business interests into one strong association, Lorraine Douglas-Smith, executive director of QBIC, says. "The QBIC structure will ensure concentrated effort can be given to the varied industry interests," Douglas-Smith says. "QBIC is confident that the result will be a united, proactive industry body."
