The federal government has introduced into Parliament a series of reforms aimed at ensuring the industrial-relations system better meets the needs and circumstances of small business.
The
Workplace Relations and Other Legislation Amendment (Small Business and Other Measures) Bill 2001, introduced into the House of Representatives yesterday, proposes amendments to the
Workplace Relations Act 1996 and the
Trade
Practices Act 1974 to curb union right of entry into workplaces as well as limiting access to unfair-dismissal laws for small-business employees.
