ADELAIDE CHRISTMAS CAROLS BUS TO AID DISABILITY CHARITY

ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE, to celebrate the 2019 Torrens Transit Carols by Candlelight on 7 December the operator has unveiled its Christmas-themed bus, which will be going into service around the streets of Adelaide soon.

The distinctive festive green bus is decked out in Christmas images to help promote the 75th edition of the community’s oldest carols at Elder Park, the company confirms.

Funds raised by Torrens Transit Carols by Candlelight support community-based disability organisation Novita, which provides rehabilitation, therapy and support services to thousands of kids, young people and adults across South Australia, it states.

The festive bus was recently unveiled at Novita’s Regency Park hub in front of some of their clients, carers and families.

FEASTIVE FUN

Transit Systems CEO and local resident Clint Feuerherdt says the decorated bus will be a wonderful ‘on the go’ reminder to patrons that the Carols is just around the corner.

“As one of Adelaide’s much-loved events, we are hoping that more than 30,000 people will attend Carols this year at Elder Park,” Feuerherdt said.

“I know I am looking forward to sharing this experience with you this year and with my own family, ” he added.
