FleetSafe claims their new system saves on fuel bills
  Tuesday 30 October 2007
Fuel costs for heavy vehicle fleets could be substantially reduced with the introduction of an innovative new fuel saving system claim the manufacturers.

The Mtech Fuel Saver is being distributed in Australia by FleetSafe, a provider of vehicle technology solutions.

The Mtech Fuel Saver is approved by both the United States Environmental Protection Agency and CARB standards, based on the results of its Proof-Of-Concept testing.

The tests claim to demonstrate a measurable reduction in vehicle emissions and improved fuel economy, with results that are more dramatic than similar technologies evaluated.

The system operates by using Molecular Reaction Technology to reduce the size of the smallest droplets of fuel within the vehicles fuel tank and fuel lines.

A sensor, inserted once into the fuel tank, changes the aggregation of gasoline molecules from a "cluster" to "single molecule". The result is decreased surface tension leading to better atomization of the fuel and far greater fuel efficiency.

According to David Quayle, Managing Director of FleetSafe, the benefits are extensive from a cost perspective as well as for the environment.

"Tests show that once a vehicle is fitted with the Mtech Fuel Saver, exhaust pollutants and harmful greenhouse emissions are reduced by up to 50 percent," he says.

"Companies who operate fleets now have the option to use a product that benefits the environment while at the same time increases horsepower, lengthens engine life and reduces fuel costs."
